The Marvin Millsap Headquarters Building is built at the Sigma Tau Gamma founding site in Warrensburg, Missouri. The Headquarters building was completely funded by alumni gifts. Brother Marvin Millsap, Central Missouri ’27, became the namesake of the building after generously donating 40% of the building fund. Today, the staff of Fraternity and Foundation work here in service to Sigma Tau Gamma.
Chief Executive Officer
Steve Latour became the Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Tau Gamma in January 2015. The CEO of the Fraternity is employed by the Board of Directors to execute the Fraternity’s Strategic Plan. He employs a staff of well-trained individuals to aid him in accomplishing the board’s vision. As of April 23, 2016, Latour officially became a brother of Sigma Tau Gamma. Steve previously served as the Senior Director of Advancement at Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.
In December 2016, Angela Sanders joined the HQ Staff as the Director of Finance & Human Resources. Sanders graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2006 with a Masters in Accounting, with an emphasis in Systems and Auditing. Her primary responsibility is to provide accurate and up to date financial information for the fraternity, foundation, and housing company.
In January 2017, Kim Acree joined the HQ Staff as the Member Records Coordinator. Acree graduated from Columbus State University, earning a degree in business. Acree joined staff with over 15 years of experience working with financing and budgeting, along with years of prior experience with OmegaFi. Her primary responsibility is to ensure that information located in OmegaFi systems are accurate and up to date.
Brett is part of the Business Operations team at Sig Tau HQ. Conrow will graduate from the University of Central Missouri in the Spring of 2017 with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and obtain his Master’s Degree in the Spring of 2018. Conrow manages accounts receivable and accounts payable, along with assisting the director of finance.
Matt Arnaut began as an intern in May of 2017 and has transitioned to become the WPN Finance Coordinator in August of 2017. Matt is responsible for rental payments and leases agreements as well as assisting with accounts receivable and other finance operations, Matt is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting.
Adam Kowalski became a part of the HQ Team in September 2016 as the Director of Membership Engagement & Growth. Adam transitioned to become the Director of Collegiate Services in 2017. As Director of Collegiate Services, he oversees the Collegiate Services Coordinators and their roles and works daily with our collegiate members in the chapters. Adam attended Bowling Green State University where he graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and was initiated into Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. Upon graduation, Adam served for two years as the Coordinator of Chapter and Colony Development with Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity Headquarters. After leaving staff, he attended the University of South Florida and received his Master's Degree in College Student Administration.
Kassi joined the HQ staff in November 2016 as the Associate Director of Recruitment & Growth. In May, Ward transitioned to become the Associate Director of Collegiate Services. As Associate Director of Collegiate Services, she holds chapter coaching calls and is in charge of all of Sig Tau's programming efforts. Ward graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in May of 2016 with undergraduate degrees in both Business Management and Organizational Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Additionally, she is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. Ward helps coordinate expansion projects and assists chapters with recruitment practices.
Stephen joined the staff in 2016 as a Communications Coordinator, working with the SAGA Monthly and the SAGA Magazine. Stephen was a Communications Coordinator while finishing his undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Central Missouri. Upon graduation, he transitioned to become a Collegiate Services Coordinator. His main responsibilities are to ensure chapters are hitting their benchmarks and being the staff liaison to CrowdChange.
Greg Ward started working on HQ Staff in June 2016 as the Associate Director of Communications before becoming the Director of Communications & SAGA Editor in December 2016. He graduated from the University of Alabama in May of 2016, double majoring in journalism and political science. He has written for eight different publications including magazines, newspapers, broadcast and online outlets. Greg is responsible for the new brand, SAGA Magazine, all program marketing materials and overseeing the communications department.
Jeremy joined HQ Staff as a Graphic Designer in May of 2016 before he became the Creative Director in December 2016. He graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Jeremy is responsible for maintaining the latest design trends and confirming that all promotional materials created meet the current brand guidelines.
Brenna Albritton joined the headquarters staff in May 2017 as a Communications Intern before becoming the SAGA Managing Editor. Her primary responsibility is managing the SAGA Monthly Newsletter, the SAGA Blog, and aiding the Director of Communication with the SAGA Magazine. Brenna will graduate from the University of Central Missouri in May 2018.
Jill Carrel joined HQ staff in July 2016 as the Associate Director of WPN Housing before transitioning to become the Director of Foundation Operations. She attended Butler University in Indianapolis earning her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Journalism where she was a sister of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. Carrel has more than a decade of experience in fundraising and event planning for various organizations.
Membership Engagement & Growth
Erik Kahl joined the HQ staff in March of 2015 as the Director of Collegiate Services. During his time as Director of Collegiate Services, he oversaw the Collegiate Services Coordinators and their roles. Kahl transitioned to the Director of Alumni Engagement in 2017. His responsibilities include working with alumni associations on various topics, collaborating with chapter advisors and helping create chapter advisory teams for our collegiate members. Kahl received a Master's of Education in Higher Education/Student Affairs with an emphasis in leadership development and learning from Iowa State in 2013. Before moving to Warrensburg, Kahl was the Student Activity Adviser for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Arizona State University.
Jake Jenkins joined the headquarters staff in January 2017 as a Collegiate Services Coordinator before transitioning to Alumni Engagement Coordinator. Jenkins aids the Director of Alumni Engagement with alumni relations, including being a staff liaison to registered alumni associations. He will graduate from the University of Central Missouri in May 2018, with a degree in occupational safety.
Dean Anderson joined the HQ staff in July of 2015 as a recruitment and growth coordinator. During Anderson's short time here at Headquarters, he has progressed. He was promoted to Associate Director of Recruitment & Growth in 2016 and is now the Director of Recruitment & Growth. Anderson helps coordinate expansion projects, assists chapters with recruitment practices and helps aid in Sigma Tau Gamma's continued growth.
Zachary Greenemay is the Senior Recruitment & Growth Coordinator for the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. Greenemay is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Before graduating in 2015, Greenemay was a founding father of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter. Ultimately, Greenemay wants to earn a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs. His first day on staff was May 22, 2017.
Jose Contreras joined HQ Staff as a Recruitment and Growth Coordinator in November 2016. Contreras graduated from Pittsburg State University in May of 2015, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing.
Joey Haire is a Recruitment & Growth Coordinator for the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. Haire Graduated from the Winona State University, is an active member of the Beta Xi Chapter of Sig Tau. Haire served as chapter president as an undergraduate member before joining the staff. His first day was May 22, 2017.
Ben Nelson is a Recruitment & Growth Coordinator for the Headquarters Staff of Sigma Tau Gamma. Nelson graduated from Washington State University with a degree in sociology and a minor in psychology. He was a member of the recently chartered Zeta Iota Chapter at Washington State. Future plans for Nelson are to pursue a Master's Degree in Higher Education. His first day was May 22, 2017.
WPN Housing & HQ Operations
Vanessa Ryan joined HQ staff in July 2016 as the Director of Education and Standards before transitioning to become the Director of WPN Housing & HQ Operations. After receiving her undergraduate degree and becoming a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, she graduated from Central Michigan University with a Masters of Arts Degree in Education Administration. Vanessa has over 14 years of higher education experience in supervision, training, conference and event planning. Her primary responsibility is the oversight and management of WPN properties and ensuring daily operations at the Sig Tau Headquarter Facility.
Angel Gonzales joined the HQ staff as a Recruitment and Growth Coordinator in June 2016. Gonzales Graduated in May of 2016 from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. After completing several expansion projects, including Black Hills State, Henderson State and helping with Colorado State, Gonzales transitioned to his role of HQ Operations Coordinator.
In August of 2017, Emma joined the HQ team as an Administrative Assistant. Her main responsibilities are assisting with daily operations at HQ, as well as aiding in the archiving process. Emma will graduate in May 2018 from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.
Hannah joined HQ Staff in August of 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. Her main responsibilities are assisting with daily operations at HQ, as well as aiding in the archiving process. Hannah plans to graduate in May 2018 from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
