Sigma Tau Gamma is calling for five Noble Gentlemen to serve on the Fraternity’s Board of Directors from June 2018 – June 2020. There are five positions on the Board of Directors open for election this June 2018 at the Grand Conclave in Phoenix, Arizona. These are Four Member-at-Large positions and one President-Elect position.

THE FILING DECLARATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS:
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Note however that the filing deadline may be extended in the case where the number of candidates is the same or less than the number of seats open for the position.

Please reference the subsequent document titled “Board of Directors Candidate Information.” It contains more detailed information regarding the filing and election process. ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE DEADLINE IN ORDER FOR THE CANDIDATE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE CERTIFIED.
Please reference the subsequent document titled “Board of Directors Responsibilities, Obligations and Expectations.” It contains more detailed information regarding Board service and references relevant articles and sections of the Constitution and Laws and Board Policy Governance Manual. You will be asked to acknowledge that you understand and accept the obligations of Board service, and by signing and filing the Filing Declaration you will be deemed to have done so.
Those seeking a position on the Board of Directors should plan (although it’s not required) to attend Grand Conclave June 28 – 30, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. Candidate orientation will take place on June 28, so please plan to arrive by the evening of June 27. The initial meeting of the new Board of Directors will be held on the morning of July 1, so please do not plan to depart sooner than that afternoon.
As the Election Code and election process are finalized leading up to the convention, additional information will be sent to certified candidates.
