Thousands Raised for Special Olympics

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – This year has been exciting for Sigma Tau Gamma. Successful expansion and recruitment across the country, a new Headquarters building, Grand Conclave, and of course our ongoing support with our national philanthropy partnerĀ – Special Olympics.

This summer in Phoenix at Grand Conclave, we are excited to be able to present a representative of Special Olympics with a check for over $18,000. This check was made possible with the support of our chapters who decided to take up this noble cause and raise funds for this incredible organization. Special Olympics provides the opportunity to train and compete in athletics in over 172 countries for over 4.9 million athletes. We are proud our chaptersĀ support Special Olympics and help provide the athletes the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families.
