Zeta Omega Associate Chapter

The Ohio State University

About the Chapter
The Zeta Omega Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma at The Ohio State University was established in Spring 2018 with 22 Founding Fathers.

Chapter History
The fall of 2017 was not a good time for Greek life on The Ohio State University’s campus. With countless fraternities being investigated for numerous reasons, Greek life was entirely shut down while the university juggled the numerous accusations. Four fraternities were removed from campus as a result. As the spring semester rolled around, the university was ready to bring something new to the campus.

This is where the Zeta Omega Chapter’s story begins. Headquarters Staff members Jose Contreras, Joey Haire, and Michael Priolo went out to the massive campus in search of Noble Men. In the office of fraternity and sorority life, they found Mason “The Godfather” Stalder, a second-semester senior. Although he was on his way to graduation in less than four months, Mason was dedicated to spending that small amount of time building something that would last; something that was fundamentally different than what he had seen during his time in the office.

By the end of the semester, the chapter had 22 Founding Fathers consisting of law, business, and medical scholars, active and former military, club athletes, and leaders in countless other student organizations. In the short amount of time that Zeta Omega has been around, it has already built a strong relationship with the region’s Special Olympics, other Greek organizations, the university, and the larger Columbus community. Zeta Omega is determined to keep the momentum going, never stopping or getting complacent in its pursuit of building generations of Noble Men.
