DENVER, COLORADO – On Friday, December 8, ten men at Metropolitan State University of Denver  (MSU Denver) were welcomed into the Fraternity.

After seeing a successful expansion at Colorado State University this past spring, and seeing the announcement earlier this fall that Sig Tau would be on campus at University of Colorado Boulder in spring 2018; interest began to grow on a campus of 19,000 students in the heart of Denver. The group of noble men reached out to Director of Recruitment and Growth, Dean Anderson, Purdue and expressed their desire to establish a chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma on their campus.

In early November, MSU Denver’s Assistant Director of Student Activities, B.J. Layman, reached out to Sig Tau inviting Sigma Tau Gamma to establish a chapter at MSU Denver. “Our committee was extremely impressed by Sigma Tau Gamma’s application, presentation, and organizational values,” Layman said.

Present at the ceremony on Friday were parents, friends and family of the men. In addition, other members of the Greek community were in attendance including women of Sigma Sigma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Alpha.
