Founders Day Challenge Goals & Continued Partnership with CrowdChange

Published on April 26, 2021 in News, Press Releases, Foundation

Last week, the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation launched the 2021 Founders Day Challenge with ambitious new goals. This year, we are raising $150,000 through the generous gifts of 300 donors!

The Founders Day Challenge launched on CrowdChange, continuing our partnership with the online fundraising platform used by our undergraduate members for philanthropic events. The Sig Tau Foundation has continued to see benefits using CrowdChange after several online fundraising campaigns.

See and share fundraiser progress in real time.

CrowdChange allows you to track the progress of the campaign and see how close we are to reaching our 300 donors and $150,000 goal. Donating is simple and quick, donations are updated in real-time, and you can share the campaign page with ease. Follow along and spread the message of support leading up to Founders Day this year!

Cover processing fees.

CrowdChange wants to make sure that 100% of your donation goes directly to the Sig Tau Foundation by giving donors the ability to pay any processing fees! After a year of campaigns, 96% of Sig Tau donors on CrowdChange covered their own fees. Maximize your impact and make sure every dollar we raise helps to reach our goal.

Create your own fundraising page.

The Sig Tau Foundation cannot reach our goals alone – we know we are made better by the support of those around us. CrowdChange allows you to use relationships and networks to fundraise by creating Team pages and Personal pages! These pages raise funds as part of the broader campaign but add a more personal touch. Challenge your chapter, friends of Sig Tau, and your own network to support this year’s Founders Day Challenge.

If you would prefer not to donate on CrowdChange, donations can still be made by mailing a check to Headquarters or by visiting MySigTau. Join early and become one of the 300 donors to make an impact this Founders DayTogether we endeavor forward.
