Gamma Zeta Provisional Chapter Reinstalled
Sigma Tau Gamma conducted the Ceremony of Installation on April 5, 2014 for the Gamma Zeta provisional chapter at Northern Arizona University. The Gamma Zeta provisional chapter welcomed family, friends, students and university administrators to watch the ceremony.
Director of Expansion Derek Kaimann and Expansion Counselor Brian Lewallen spent four weeks on the Northern Arizona University campus recruiting students to become Founding Fathers of the provisional chapter. Michael Smoll, Vice President of Strategic Growth, joined them in the recruitment efforts.
The Ceremony of Installation was lead by the installation team including President-elect Alyx Parker, Expansion Counselor Jacob Western, Smoll, Kaimann and Lewallen. Members of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter at nearby Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Arizona State provisional chapter were also in attendance.
During the ceremony, Parker addressed the brothers and encouraged them to strive for excellence as they develop the new provisional chapter. After the Ceremony of Installation, the men went participated in a local Relay for Life event.
Sigma Tau Gamma first chartered on the Northern Arizona University campus on September 21, 1968 and closed in 1976.
