Huck Departs Staff

huckCommunications & Merchandise Coordinator,Ā Elissa Huck, has announced her departure from the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. She departs the staff to accept a Public Relations position with Black Twig Communications in St. Louis, MO. As a graduate from the University of Central Missouri and after living in Warrensburg for four years, Huck will be relocating to her hometown in St. Louis to pursue her career in an environment that is closer to her friends and family.

Iā€™m excited for this new opportunity to further my career in Public Relations and enhance my professional development,ā€¯ said Huck. “As an alumnae of Sigma Kappa, I am grateful that Sigma Tau Gamma gave me the opportunity to advance Fraternity/Sorority life at a national level and impact our members and alumni.

During her time on staff, Huck managed the communication and branding guidelines along with the print and digital publications ofĀ the Fraternity. In addition, Huck attended and helped organize the 2015 Earl A. Webb Academy for Principled Leaders in Kansas City, MO, and published the Summer/Fall, Winter, and to be released Spring/Summer editions of the SAGA Magazine of Sigma Tau Gamma. She also revised the Fraternityā€™s strategic social media plan. Huck departs staff on Friday, May 8, 2015.

Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity was founded by veterans of World War I in Warrensburg, Missouri at the University of Central Missouri. On June 28, 2020 it will commemorate its 100th Anniversary. Today, there are more than 3,000 undergraduate members on 70 college/university campuses in 24 states. There are 58,560 living alumni.
