Chapter Awards – Deadline: April 15
While chapter awards are always an exciting time, this year’s process makes it even easier for chapters to qualify, thanks to enhancements to the Chapter Standards Report. Traditionally, chapter leaders completed an end of year form; however, this year the process has been both streamlined and expanded.
What was once a framework of roughly a dozen benchmarks has grown into more than 70 specific performance markers. With support from their Headquarters Chapter Coach, chapter leaders now participate in monthly check-ins to track progress and maintain consistent operational excellence throughout the year. These updates allow Headquarters to more effectively analyze performance data and determine winners for several chapter awards without requiring a separate application. Our most prestigious honors, including the Earl A. Webb Most Improved Chapter Award and the Edward H. McCune Chapter of the Year Award, will still require an application. However, eligible chapters will now receive a direct invitation to apply based on their performance in the Chapter Standards Report.
- Bernier Family Communication Award
- Michael Schermer & Doug Lichtenberger Foundation Advocate Award
- Earl A. Webb Most Improved Chapter Award
- Alumni Association Award of Distinction
- Edward H. McCune Distinguished Chapter Award
- W.T. “Bill” Hembree Campus Leadership Award
- Robert N. Jones Charitable Projects Award

Why These Awards Matter
Award applications do more than capture achievements, they build history. They help chapters reflect, celebrate leadership, and strive for excellence for years to come. Each nomination strengthens the Fraternity by highlighting the people and chapters who live the Sig Tau Principles and strengthen this brotherhood.
This is the moment to take the time to apply for these awards and ensure your chapter and brothers receive the recognition they deserve. With deadlines quickly approaching, Sigma Tau Gamma encourages all members to honor the accomplishments that continue to shape the Fraternity.
