INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, Inc. has sold its National Headquarters building on Founders Road, relocating core operations to Carmel City Center in March. The move, affecting the entire organization, including the Fraternity, Foundation, and WPN Housing Company, aligns with evolving business practices to enhance program delivery to Sig Tau undergraduate members nationwide.
The decision, announced at the annual Stakeholders’ Meeting, responds to academic and Greek life trends favoring smaller footprints and a diverse, nationwide staff. National President Jeremy Daus emphasized a departure from a single physical presence, redirecting resources to technological innovation and the development of future leaders.
CEO W.P. “Buz” Barlow, Jr., JD, anticipates creating a cutting-edge work culture with increased efficiency and flexibility, setting a model for other organizations. Negotiations for a new location for historical archives, including AI-driven approaches to share the fraternity’s 104-year history, are already underway. Sigma Tau Gamma was founded by men returning from a World War who desired a fraternal experience that was otherwise being denied to them, and Buz emphasizes,
“We’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation in higher education during the past four years, and the energy and momentum developed by it resonates throughout our organization. We are excited to seize on all the possibilities and are proud to continue to call Indianapolis our home.”
