Warrensburg, MO – Recruitment & Growth Coordinator Victor Ugarte, Northern Arizona, has moved on from the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. He will be starting graduate school at the University of Denver, with a goal to earn his masters’ degree.
Ugarte joined the staff in June 2016, shortly after being an intern at Grand Chapter in Orlando, Florida. Ugarte had an immediate positive impact at Headquarters. He was able to help grow the new Zeta Pi Associate Chapter at the University of Arizona, successfully restart the Beta Pi Associate Chapter at Frostburg State, and played a vital part in Sig Tau returning to the state of California. Ugarte helped start the Zeta Rho Associate Chapter at the University of California, Merced.
Ugarte reflects on his time on the HQ staff, “During my time at Headquarters, I learned so many professional skills and developed a passion for expanding Sig Tau. I am happy I could start three chapters and assist numerous existing chapters in their recruitment efforts. I have to say that I am proud to be a Sig Tau and I cannot wait to volunteer in the future to provide valuable information to undergraduates.”
Director of Recruitment & Growth Dean Anderson, Purdue said that he will miss Ugarte’s energy and work ethic.
“Victor always made sure what he did was going to be completed and completed correctly. That is evident in his expansion efforts at the three chapters he helped start. Ugarte was always happy to help with various projects and we will definitely miss him around the office.”
Ugarte’s last day with Headquarters was March 31, 2017.
