COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – After a year-long process, the Beta Alpha Chapter will be moving into their new on-campus location in the fall of 2021. The facility is one of the newest Greek houses at Missouri, being constructed in 2015 on Rollins Street in Columbia, Missouri.

The first floor is equipped with multiple bedrooms, private bathrooms, and a kitchenette and living area. The second floor has multiple bedrooms, a community bathroom, a brotherhood lounge and study space while the third floor is primarily bedroom space. In total, the facility will sleep 27 and is situated in a prime location in “Greek town.”

Beta Alpha Chapter President Grant Mertz, Missouri was elected in November and knew this was something they did not want to lose momentum on.

“We are incredibly excited to be moving into the new location this August. We have been IFC recognized for years and building those relationships and building the chapter the right way has led to this opportunity,” Mertz said.

Since re-chartering in 2017, the chapter has made sound decisions with many of the re-founding fathers sacrificing to ensure this future success of the chapter.

“The brothers that came before us set us up for success. The foundation they built was stable and we have been able to continue to build the culture of what they started. Step by step, each year we have grown stronger and wiser, and we are incredibly excited to take this next step for the Beta Alpha Chapter.”
