INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Three finalists for the 2018 National White Rose Sweetheart Scholarship have been chosen from a dozen candidates. Candidates were chosen by a Sig Tau Chapter and submitted to Headquarters in the spring to be reviewed by a national panel. One of these three women will be recognized as the 2018 National White Rose Sweetheart on June 30 at Grand Conclave in Phoenix, Arizona. Congratulations, to these outstanding women who by their actions and deeds have become strong advocates for Sigma Tau Gamma.

Bailey Barker
Bailey is a member of Phi Mu at Southeastern Louisiana University. Aside from holding leadership positions in her own chapter, Bailey is excellent at motivating the men of the Phi Chapter to go out and seek community service opportunities. She was crowned the White Rose Sweetheart for the Phi Chapter in both 2017 and in 2018 because of her leadership, honesty, and the ability to push herself, and the men of Sig Tau to do their best in everything they do. Bailey stays loyally committed to helping with every aspect of chapter operations including tutoring brothers, being a listening ear, and supporting philanthropic and intramural events.

Rachael (Addison) Crowder
Addison attends the University of Alabama and is a member of Chi Omega. She is a nursing student and a fitness and health instructor, one day hoping to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Addison is an active student, being involved in many organizations on campus such as Project Health, Panhellenic Recruitment Team, and University Group Exercise Instructors. Lastly, she is a loyal friend and greatly respects her friendships, keeping them in high priority; this includes the Sig Tau men of the Epsilon Phi Chapter. As White Rose, Addison contributes to the chapter through involvement, representation, and compassion. She not only actively attends philanthropy events but also holds a role in the recruitment process.

MacKenzie Johnson
MacKenzie is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha a the University of Arkansas – Monticello. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Mackenzie is heavily involved on campus including serving as the President of her sorority, Vice President of Student Government Association, and an active member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. She strives on accepting the duty of representing organizations tasked with ensuring the success of students involved. Mackenzie is a friend and woman that the men of the Upsilon Chapter have learned to depend on, trust, and represent them well.
