A Semester in the Life of Sig Tau

INDIANAPOLIS,Ā INDIANA – The 2018 fall semester was a busy time for our Sig Tau chapters, active brothers, alumni, and Headquarters Staff.

In the fall semester, Sig Tau brothers around the country:

  • Recruited 776 new members, bringing our membership to more than 3,300 undergraduate brothers
  • Attended two Noble Man Institutes in Colorado and Indiana
  • Received their Charter (Zeta Lambda, Nevada Reno)
  • Restarted the Zeta Associate Chapter at Northeastern State University
  • Joined Blazer nation with the installation of the Eta Kappa Associate Chapter at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
  • Raised $8,201.20 to support the Foundation during Giving Tuesday
  • Raised $3,306.20Ā  to support the Foundation with 163 donors joining the Azure and White Undergraduate Giving Club

 

 

This past fall, our professional staff:

  • Visited 44 of our 86 chapters – this is more than 50% of our chapters
  • Visited 24 of the 31 states that Sig Tau chapters call home
  • Traveled over 40,000 miles
  • Impacted over 1,381 undergraduate members during chapter visits
  • Added four chapters to the WPN Housing Company family, including Alabama, East Carolina, and Arizona State, and University of Arizona
  • Published Volume 88, Issue 1 of the SAGA Magazine
