Sigma Tau Gamma Board of Directors Names Vanessa Ryan Chief Executive Officer

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – The Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity Board of Directors is pleased to announce Vanessa Ryan has been named Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation and the WPN National Housing Company.

Ryan joined the Headquarters staff in August 2016, previously serving as Sigma Tau Gamma’s Director of Education and Standards from August 2016 – January 2017, Director of WPN Housing from January 2017 – June 2018, and most recently as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer from July 2018 – December 2018. Ryan was instrumental in the first year of the Noble Man Institute, was responsible for planning multiple national conferences including Webb Academy and Endeavor Conference and provided leadership in the growth of WPN National Housing Company to 11 properties. Ryan was also the lead staff member for the Headquarters relocation project including the expansion and renovation of the Fraternity’s new Headquarters facility. Ryan becomes just the seventh person in Sigma Tau Gamma’s nearly 100-year history to serve as CEO.

Vanessa is uniquely qualified to execute our strategic plan and advance our vision to build noble generations of men.”

Prior to joining the Sigma Tau Gamma professional staff, Ryan served as the first Director of the Anderson Student Center at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., and was involved with student affairs at Oakland University and Central Michigan University. Ryan received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration from Central Michigan University and is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.
