Foundation Challenges Donors to “Double Their Impact” with $20,000 Gift Match Announcement

Published on June 9, 2021 in News, Press Releases, Foundation

As we approach Founders Day, we are thrilled to announce an exciting gift match opportunity. Thanks to a generous donor to the Sig Tau Foundation, $20,000 is available to be matched for the 2021 Founders Day Challenge!

“This is a great opportunity for us – and a great challenge to our donors,” explained Past National President and Foundation Vice Chairman of Fundraising Jeff Russo, Carnegie Mellon. “To see our donors not only give at this level ($20,000) but to see them challenge other donors with a gift match, says a lot about the support and belief they have in the Sig Tau Foundation and those who choose to give. It lets us continue building a future of support for the next generation of brothers. What a noble endeavor.”

Here’s how the gift match works – if you gave $100 or more to the 2020 Founders Day Challenge, by increasing your gift this year it can be matched. If you did not give to the 2020 Founders Day Challenge or gave less than $100, any gift over $100 will be matched. Help us reach our goals of 300 donors and $150,000 and double your impact today by supporting Sig Tau.

$150,000 and 300 donors are not the only ambitious goals the Sig Tau Foundation is setting. The Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation has much to celebrate from the centennial year and even more to look forward to financially supporting in the years to come. Below are just a few goals Sigma Tau Gamma has set for our future:

  • Foundation grants fully fund all Noble Man Institute sites and all eligible expenses for the Earl A. Webb Academy of Principled Leaders, Endeavor Conference and Grand Conclave.
  • Expand leadership development programs, experiences, and positions for undergraduates and alumni.
  • Create a digital, holistic member-development program to be utilized by all chapters and associate chapters.

The Foundation’s achievements have pushed us forward, allowing us to set higher goals, build stronger relationships, and continue on our mission to help provide educational opportunities to Sig Tau brothers. As we grow and look to the future, we know these efforts are not undertaken alone. We need your help. The collective power of Brotherhood is unmatched – the impact you make is invaluable. Join us in supporting the 2021 Founders Day Challenge and matching $20,000 in donations.
