GOTHAM DEPARTS HQ STAFF
WARRENSBURG, MISSOURI – Director of Advancement, Patrick Gotham, Salisbury ’09, has announced his departure from the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. He departs the staff to accept a position as a Development Officer at Framingham State University in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Gotham joined the Headquarters Staff in May 2015. While on staff, he was responsible for coordinating all fundraising activity for the Sig Tau Foundation as well as operated as the Headquarters Staff Liaison for alumni associations. Gotham helped to create the Foundation’s development plan as well as worked with the Board of Trustees Stewardship Committee on the creation of a new giving recognition plan for annual and lifetime giving that will roll out this spring. He was also responsible for coordinating the annual fall appeal to support the Webb Academy program as well as launched the new undergraduate giving program, the Azure and White Club.
Pat brought tremendous passion to the Headquarters Team and helped push us forward in significant ways. I appreciate all that he was able to accomplish, especially his work with the new Board of Advisors, said CEO Steve Latour. I cannot wait to welcome him back as a volunteer, facilitating at a future program.
In his short tenure on staff, Gotham also recruited the inaugural members of the Board of Advisors, a new national board who will support Sigma Tau Gamma and its three legal entities – the Fraternity, the Foundation, and the WPN National Housing Company. This group will be a huge asset for the future of the Fraternity, especially in regards to expanding opportunities for alumni involvement. Gotham also worked with a third party vendor to update alumni records to improve Sig Tau’s communication abilities with our alumni.
When asked about his time on staff, Gotham said,
It was a tremendous honor to work for Sig Tau, especially during a period of exciting growth for the organization. I am proud of the initiatives I worked on while on staff and look forward to seeing the continued success of the Fraternity and Foundation.
