National Philanthropy Chairmen Named
Executive Vice President Bill Bernier, DMF, Iota ’71, has named Joy Helsel the National Philanthropy Chairman and Pat Gotham, CSM, Epsilon Rho ’11, the National Philanthropy Vice Chairman. Joy serves as Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at California University of Pennsylvania, home to the Beta Iota Chapter. Pat is a graduate assistant for leadership development at the University of Connecticut. Together, they will work to support Sigma Tau Gamma’s three-part national philanthropy program.
According to the FraternityÃÂÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs Strategic Plan and McCune Metrics program, each chapter is to organize annually an event to support Special Olympics, our national philanthropy; and an event to support a local chapter philanthropy partner; and an event to support the philanthropy event of another fraternity or sorority on their campus.
