PITTSBURG, KANSAS – Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters has learned that undergraduate Griffin Lamb, Pittsburg State, entered Chapter Eternal on October 24, 2021.
Griffin was a part of the most recent associate member class of the Epsilon Chapter at Pittsburg State. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and was a freshman majoring in Automotive Technology.
He was described as an always happy person and someone who would always put a smile on your face.
“Griffin was genuinely a great guy and valued the brotherhood experience,” Epsilon Chapter President Dante Stokes, Pittsburg State, said. “He was a hard worker and what people would tell you most is that Griffin was one of those people that you couldn’t get mad at, he was infectious and was such a positive guy.”
The entire Greek community at Pittsburg State has rallied around the Epsilon Chapter. Stokes said that everyone has been incredibly supportive.
“We as a chapter have been spending a lot of time together. Different organizations have brought over meals and people on campus have contributed so much during this time. This isn’t easy for us but going through this together as a brotherhood will make it easier.”
The chapter and the Lamb family ask that donations be made in honor of Griffin to the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation (DBAF) at https://dbafoundation.org.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lamb family, their loved ones, the Pittsburg State community, and our Brothers of the Epsilon Chapter.
Headquarters Staff is working with chapter leadership, local alumni, and campus administration to provide additional support and access to resources for our members.
