Sig Tau Wrapped 2022
2022 has come to an end, and we would like to reflect on the great strides Sigma Tau Gamma has made throughout the year to continue exemplifying our Principles and furthering our mission of building noble generations of men.
People don’t join organizations; people join people. That may feel cliché at times, but it is a universal truth that our fraternity has witnessed through the last 102 years. With that said, Sig Tau is only as strong as the quality of men we attract to our chapters on a national level. In 2022, 953 new members signed bids to join our great fraternity, taking the first step on their path to nobility.
Our members have also been living their Principles to the fullest, with Citizenship being shown and exemplified throughout the year with actions, not words. This year, we’ve celebrated over 38,500 hours of service completed by our brothers looking to impact their community. Our dedication to philanthropic impact has been very evident as well, with over $30,000 raised for Special Olympics.
We also would like to celebrate the fruition of four national programs. Between the 2022 Webb Academy, the spring Noble Man Institute, Grand Conclave Kansas City, and the fall Noble Man Institute, we had 953 attendees join us for national programs this year. As we happily continue to create opportunities for members to engage with each other nationally, we would like to extend a thank you to everyone who has celebrated with us this year.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation for continuing to add layers of depth to the Sig Tau Experience by supporting all our educational programs and offering financial assistance to our members on their educational journeys. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation was able to award $126,376 in grants and scholarships to our members, allowing them to continue their pursuit of Wisdom, Purpose, and Nobility.
We want to thank our members, volunteers, supporters, friends of Sig Tau, and headquarters staff for all their work throughout the year. We’re proud of the strides Sig Tau has taken this year and can’t wait to see all the ways we will continue to endeavor forward in 2023.
