Albritton Departs Staff Leaving a Footprint for the Future in Digital Communications

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters announces that Assistant Director of Communications Brenna Albritton has departed from the Fraternity Staff.

Brenna joined the HQ Staff as a Communications Intern in the summer of 2017 and served as SAGA Managing Editor shortly after. In June 2018, she transitioned to her full-time role as Communications & Merchandise Coordinator.

In her role as Communications & Merchandise Coordinator, the Sig Tau Marketplace saw tremendous growth, Sig Tau’s social media found new and creative ways to engage with members, and under her supervision, sigtau.org saw a record number of first-time users (visitors) of over 48,000 in one year.

“Sig Tau has had such a profound impact on my life both personally and professionally. It’s been an honor to call Sig Tau home for the past three years and I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to serve the membership while working alongside dedicated staff and volunteers,” Brenna said. “It’s been a true privilege to tell the stories of the Brotherhood of Sig Tau.”

In April, Brenna was promoted to Assistant Director of Communications, helping organize 100 years of history in the Sig Tau archives and creating content for the most successful Founders Day Challenge in the history of the organization.

“During her time on the communications team, Brenna helped Sig Tau experience growth unlike any time in recent memory. Starting her professional career in Warrensburg with Sig Tau, she made the move to Indianapolis and has been an influential part of organization communications since,” Director of Communications & SAGA Editor Greg Ward, Alabama said. “Because of her effort and dedication, Sigma Tau Gamma’s digital presence blossomed, and we were recognized for our efforts, including an award-winning feature article written by her in the SAGA Magazine. Her impact will be felt for generations of brothers to come.”

Brenna attended the University of Central Missouri, earning her degree in public relations and marketing. She is also a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and is currently an advisor to the Delta Zeta Chapter at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.

Brenna will continue her professional career with Blue & Co. as a Marketing Associate. Her last day on Staff is November 6, 2020.
