PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA – Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters has learned that undergraduate Brother Lucas Traverse, Duquesne, entered Chapter Eternal on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Lucas was initiated into the Delta Beta Chapter in 2020 at Duquesne University. He graduated from Central Bucks High School South (CB South) in Warrington, PA where he was a varsity athlete, playing on the lacrosse team. 

He was described as a great person and amazing friend who loved his family and strived to make those around him better.

Close friend and most recent Delta Beta Chapter President Michael Bunce shared, “He made everyone around him a better person, always pushing you to be your best self through little comments that were often times outrageously funny. He was truly a mentor for kindness and friendship, never overexaggerating or trying to get attention for it, but just being the person he was. Lucas Traverse really was the best of us and it breaks my heart that I can’t spend another day with him. On behalf of members of Sigma Tau Gamma’s Delta Beta Chapter at Duquesne University, I would like to give my condolences to Lucas’s family and thank you for allowing him to become a member.”
