Kassi Ward Departs Staff Setting the Foundation for the Future of Member Education

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters announces that Associate Director of Collegiate Services, Kassi Ward, Phi Mu, is departing staff.

Kassi joined the HQ Staff in November of 2016, serving initially as Associate Director of Recruitment & Growth before transitioning to the collegiate services team in May 2017.

She has coached dozens of chapters, helped multiple chapters submit their petition to charter, has led chapter retreats across the country, written and designed curriculum for both Noble Man Institute and the Earl A. Webb Academy of Principled Leaders, and most recently helped develop the new Sigma and Tau Phases of the Path of Principles Program.

Chief Executive Officer Vanessa Ryan says Kassi’s impact is evident in almost every aspect of collegiate services.

“Kassi’s sustainable impact in the area of collegiate services is equal to her care, concern, and commitment to develop the people and projects for which she was responsible. Her impact on Sigma Tau Gamma over the past five years is simply hard to measure. Even as she departs Staff, the groundwork she has laid will forever change the way we look at how we educate our members.”

Kassi said the impact Sig Tau has had on her both personally and professionally is something she will carry with her in all of her future endeavors.

“There simply are not enough words to adequately describe the impact Sig Tau has had on the last five years of my life. The gratitude I feel for having met each and every person – from the staff and volunteers to the alumni and students, and everyone in between – is beyond measure. As we frequently hear within this Fraternity: Sig Tau is for life. I know that the professional skills and personal connections I’ve made here will stay with me, and I look forward to continuing to support and engage with this incredible Fraternity.

Kassi’s last day is January 21, 2022.
