Formerly referred to as Dent Man of the Year finalists, the Undergraduate Hall of Fame expands to recognize 10 outstanding graduating seniors. During Grand Chapter, the Undergraduate Hall of Fame inductees will interview with past Dent Man of the Year recipients, along with representatives from Society of Seventeen.
Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters has learned that two brothers tragically passed away in a plane crash while vacationing in Hawaii on Monday, May 23. Philip Cabe, Cameron ’15 and Marshall Cabe, Cameron ’11 were members of our Gamma Rho Chapter at Cameron University.

WARRENSBURG, MISSOURI – This past summer, Sigma Tau Gamma announced Ben Hopper, the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Kansas State University as the recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Interfraternal Leadership Award at the National Leadership Conference in Norfolk, Virginia. The award is presented to an Interfraternal partner who through mentorship aids in our endeavor to build a noble generations of men. The recipient also encourages the advancement of not only Sigma Tau Gamma but the broader fraternity movement through their actions and deeds. The recipient is selected from a pool of candidates and approved by the National Board of Directors.
CINCINNATI, OHIO – On Saturday, January 23, National President Alyx Parker, Illinois ’94, officially installed the Zeta Beta Chapter at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. The Zeta Beta Associate Chapter was installed on November 13, 2013. Since its inception, the chapter has initiated 55 men, 43 of whom are currently undergraduate members.
The chartering ceremony took place in the West Pavilion of Cincinnati’s Nippert Football Stadium with over one hundred people in attendance, including local alumni and more than two-dozen parents and family members.
WARRENSBURG, MISSOURI – CEO Emeritus William P. “Bill” Bernier of Warrensburg, Missouri has retired after nearly forty-two years of service to Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. His last day on staff was January 31, 2015. Bill Bernier accrued considerable distinction as the Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and Foundation, a vocational and leadership organization. Under the guidance of Bill Bernier, Kent State ’70, Sigma Tau Gamma initiated over 35,000 new members and installed 51 chapters across the nation.
