INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Sigma Tau Gamma announces the growth of the Fraternity Operations team through two Headquarters Staff transitions.
Alex Hart, Nebraska at Kearney has transitioned from Recruitment & Growth Coordinator to Collegiate Services Coordinator; and Angel Gonzales, Washington State, has transitioned from Associate Director of WPN Housing Operations to Associate Director of Alumni Engagement.
Alex joined the HQ Staff as a Recruitment & Growth Coordinator in June 2018. Alex graduated from Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Sports Management. As an undergraduate, Hart served the Beta Chi Chapter as Chapter President and is a 2018 inductee of the Noble Man Hall of Fame. As a Recruitment & Growth Coordinator, Alex has helped recruit and start chapters at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the University of Maryland, and the University of Kansas.
“My undergraduate experience with Sig Tau was a product of the recruitment and growth department. It was easy to share my passion for the organization through supporting chapter growth and expanding to new campuses,” Alex Hart said. “Strategic growth is very important to me, but knowing the organization’s needs, it was clear that there was an opportunity for a much larger impact through supporting all facets of chapter operations.”
Angel Gonzales first joined the HQ Staff as a Recruitment & Growth Coordinator in June 2016. Gonzales Graduated in May of 2016 from Washington State University with a degree in Communications. In May of 2017, after completing several expansion projects, including Black Hills State, Henderson State and helping with Colorado State, Gonzales transitioned to the role of Associate Director of WPN Housing Operations.
During his time working with WPN, Angel managed and served as the primary contact for many WPN properties including the University of Central Missouri, Purdue, Michigan State, Central Michigan, Nebraska at Kearney, William Woods, and all Headquarters office buildings. Angel was instrumental in overseeing the renovation and completion of the Headquarters building in Indianapolis.
“It was an amazing experience working alongside the undergraduate house managers while I served WPN National Housing Company, and I gained incredible experience being a part of moving our national headquarters,” Angel said. “I am excited about the opportunity to serve the organization in a new way. There is a lot of potential with the new position and hopefully, even greater heights will be reached. I look forward to the work ahead!”
Alex transitioned into his new role on November 18, 2019. Angel transitioned into his new role on January 27, 2020.
